As a prevention for healthy people recommended ten simple things that anyone could do for the health of your blood vessels and heart:

  1. Every day, at least five days a week, fast walk for half an hour.
  2. Avoid foods with lots of cholesterol.
  3. Use olive and flaxseed oil
  4. At least three times a week eat fish because it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids
  5. At least three times a day, eat fruits and vegetables
  6. Eat several smaller meals throughout the day
  7. Do not smoke
  8. Consume alcohol only in small quantities (recommended for red wine)
  9. Avoid excessive amount of salt in food.
  10. Take all prescribed medications regularly.
